Thalia nodded, then blushed. No other boy would have lived to hold her hand this long. She only allowed Luke to hold her hand because she trusts him. This was just Kyle, but she trusted Kyle. And Kyle kinda reminded Thalia of the old Luke. “Well yeah,” she said. “Hey, you said something about other guys, right? Any suggestions?”

Kyle tugged Thalia as they walked. He had one hand holding hers, the other was inside his jeans pocket. He nodded at what she said. “Yeah, and I normally would suggest myself, but not right now. Anyway, there’s always that Leo kid and Dom. They’re both pretty good looking kids. Don’t you think?”

Thalia slapped Kyle hard that his face turned red, but it quickly faded. She then started to groan in pain because of her hand that she used to slap Kyle was in pain. She then looked at Kyle and realized that he was right. Luke was never really hers to keep. Plus he has free will, he could date any girl he wants to. Thalia swallowed. “You’re right. Wanna go for a walk?”

Kyle gave her a long look. He looked at her hand. It really looked like she was in pain. He took her hand in his and rubbed her wrists. “Yeah, sure. Oh yeah, this isn’t really considered cheating so don’t be upset by that. I mean, we are going on this walk as friends right?”

Thalia hit Kyle hard on the shoulder but she knows he wouldn’t feel that. But she does know the one place where she could hit him and that he would feel it, but she isn’t that desperate to go there. “Upset!? Oh yeah, you really are upset. You’re so upset that you’re tanning,” Thalia said sarcastically.

Kyle rolled his eyes yet again and stood up. He brushed the dirt off his jeans and offered his hand to Thalia. As soon as she’s standing up, Kyle glared at her. “Listen here Thalia, believe it or not, you’ll be spending Valentines alone today, okay? Oh yeah, face the reality that Luke will never be completely yours… so I suggest that you find someone new, okay?”

Thalia put both of her hands at Kyle’s neck. She wanted to strangle him for the lies he said. She glared at him as she pinned him to the ground. He didn’t stop her, instead he seemed to let Thalia do whatever she wants to do. “I can’t believe you would say these lies to me, Kyle. What did I ever do to you, huh? And dragging Silena into the topic, how could you?”

Kyle rolled his eyes and pushed Thalia off. Usually, he liked girls on top of him. Especially if that girl happens to be the one and only Thalia Grace, but he wasn’t in the mood today. “Whoa girl, I ain’t lying to ya. And even if I am, why would I bring Silena? You know I have the hots for her. Plus, I’m just as upset as you are, okay?”

Thalia wondered where Luke was, especially since today would have been the most perfect day for the two of them to spend the whole day together. So Thalia decided to look for Luke, but instead she found Kyle. She walked up to him and said, “Hey, Kyle.”

Thalia raised a hand an eyebrow at his english accent. It was actually rather good, but Thalia prefers listening to people with English accents who are actually born in the UK. “I’m looking for Luke. Have you seen him by any chance?” Thalia asked. Of course she knew Kyle would answer her sarcastically. 

Kyle gave off a sarcastic laugh that he knew would have annoyed Thalia. He looked at her and sat up. He patted the seat next to him and gave her one of his famous smirks. “Dearest Thalia, haven’t you heard? Luke and Silena are like the most talked about people here at camp. Turns out that they have this conspiracy thing going on.”
